About Us

The purpose of our coffees is to make your time perfect be it at work, at home, or at a café. Helsingin kahvipaahtimo was founded on 2011 for a simple reason – we love _very good_ coffee(s). dWe offer well balanced coffee of even quality, that you can fall in love with again and again every day of the year. Coffee doesn’t need to be complicated to be delicious and wonderful. We are proud of our coffee, and you can taste in your cup.

Roasting

Roasting coffee requires all senses. It combines intuition, art, and craftsmanship. Our German cast iron roaster uses Finnish bio gas and the undivided attention of its operator.

Roasting and product development is led by our founder Benjamin Andberg. He has over 20 years of experience in roastery agency and coffee production, and he has also competed successfully in Finland and internationally. All this is the basis of our customers getting excellent products of evenly high quality year after year.

Quality

Quality for us means the whole experience our customer get. We offer a uniformly excellent coffee. And we deliver it when you want it. A customer must always get their coffee. Quality is fluent production whether it means one bag a thousand kilos. We do both.

Giving back

The production chain of coffee isn’t always fair. That is why we buy most of our coffee straight from the farmer. If a coffee farmer does excellent work, they’re entitled to get a proper compensation for their work. In this way we make coffee more ethical and fair on our part.
